WORKLOAD VS. WORKPLACE TOXICITY
I keep hearing from leaders that they are worried that excessive workload is creating a toxic work environment. In reality, it is not excessive work alone that is the problem.
Toxicity of a workplace can stem from a combination of workload, organizational culture, and management practices. Reducing the workload may not necessarily address the underlying issues contributing to toxicity. Addressing these multifaceted issues holistically is what matters most in creating a healthy work environment. Here are 3 resources to help you make this distinction and tackle toxicity.
