STRESS, SELF-COMPASSION, AND PURPOSE

One thing I know to be true about purpose-driven leaders, is that when change-making work gets tough (and it always does), they stay - they stick with it. 

Here are two resources I've found helpful lately - both provide tools and approaches for managing stress.

  • Here is a great landing spot for evidence-based mindfulness practices from Dr. Kristin Neff that help build and activate self-compassion. These are practices you can do in 2 minutes - anytime of day.

  • In this podcast episode Simon Sinek and Dr. Tracy Dennis-Tiwary discuess thoughts on anxiety and stress and what it means to be in relationship with one of the many things that makes use human.
